Event: Root Causes, Our Cures: Women's Activism for Media Justice and Reform, an interactive workshop at the WAM!2005: Women, Action & Media conference in Cambridge, Mass.

Jennifer L. Pozner, executive director, WIMN, and Anne Elizabeth Moore, publisher of Punk Planet magazine, solicit comments from workshop participants about what attendees consider some of the most pressing problems in today's media climate, while Liza Dichter, board member of WIMN and cofounder of CIMA - Center for International Media Action, lists participants' concerns on the "problem tree" (explained in the next picture). Approximately 35 people attended the workshop, which was also facilitated by Inja Coates of Media Tank and media activist Nan Rubin.
