Consumer advocates will be trading in their corduroy for angel garb Fri when they descend upon the FCC to protest chmn Michael Powell's media-ownership policies. Some of the protestors are planning on dressing up like angels, a reference to a '98 Powell speech in which he talked of waiting for the "angel of the public interest." Scheduled speakers include representatives from the American Resurrection, Center for Digital Democracy and NOW.
