Melanie Klein is an Associate Faculty member at Santa Monica College teaching Sociology and Women's Studies. She helped establish the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance in 2007, a student club operating in conjunction with the Feminist Majority Foundation, re-launched the club in 2010 and serves as the club's faculty advisor. She is committed to promoting communal collaboration, raising consciousness, promoting media literacy, facilitating the healing of distorted body images and creating healthy body relationships. She blogs at FeministFatale.com, the pop culture based blog she created in 2008 and tweets @feministfatale. Her work may also be found at the Ms. Magazine Blog.
